Working With A Mission

Our district strives to make sure every child in each of our schools is known and that learning is founded in joy and purpose. We place an emphasis on creating a healthy definition of success as we work to engage students in deeper learning. Princeton Public Schools consistently ranks in the top public school districts in the state, and among the best public school districts in the country. With an Ivy League institution as a neighbor and a legacy of learning and innovation permeating our town's history, education is a fundamental value in our community.

We know the success of our staff is critical to the success of our district. That's why we work to ensure that every staff member has the resources, support, and professional development opportunities to thrive during their time in our district. We are a community of educators who collaborate and innovate. Whether a first-year teacher or a veteran educator, our staff continue to hone their skills as educators to engage the whole student in learning. The wellbeing of our students is at the forefront of all we do.

As a district, our mission is to prepare all our students to lead lives of joy and purpose as knowledgeable, creative, and compassionate citizens of a global society. If you would like to be part of this mission, we invite you to apply for open positions.

Valuing Diversity

The Princeton Public School District is proud to be a diverse district, with students from many different backgrounds and cultures attending our schools. We know how important it is for students to see educators who look like them in positions of leadership in their classrooms and schools. We also know that the more diversity we have among our educators, the better our schools will be for all students. Our goal is to attract, develop, inspire, and retain a diverse workforce within a supportive environment, and to foster pride in our vision, mission, and values among all employees.

We invite you to learn more about our commitment to educational equity and the work we are doing to be leaders in developing cultural and racial literacy among our staff and students.
